[SOLD] Rustic Pine And Rush Spanish-Inspired Lounge Chair

Vintage, Spanish-inspired pine and rush lounge chair. This rustic chair features a beautiful rush seat with a warm mid-toned wood frame. Similar in style to designs by Spanish designer Clara Porset. The former owner acquired the piece in 1968. The piece is in good vintage condition with age appropriate signs of wear with dents to wood and some marks to front of rush seat (shown in photos).
Designs by Clara Proset were steeped in her Mexican heritage with strong brutalist and Bauhaus influences. Her designs incorporated natural materials and traditional folk art themes with stark lines and crisp silhouettes.
